Fundraising Partnership
An experienced advisor alongside you for the raise itself, not just for an hour. I take on a small number of these engagements at a time, which is what lets each one stay hands-on.
This is optional one-on-one support and a paid engagement, separate from the Zonvic Founder Network. It is never a condition of membership, and membership is currently free for accepted founders.
Starts with a free introductory call.
No checkout, and no obligation.
Shaped around your company, not sold as a package
Advisory is a paid engagement, and I would rather tell you what it costs once I know what it involves. Two companies raising the same amount can need very different work: one has strong materials and needs help with sequencing and investor conversations, another has a good plan that has never been written down. Quoting both from a single published number would overcharge one and shortchange the other.
So the first step is a conversation, and it is free. If an ongoing engagement looks like the right answer, I propose a scope and a fee. If it does not, I will say so, and a single Investor Readiness Advisory is often the better use of your money.
What the work covers
Which of these matters most depends on where your raise actually stands. Few engagements need all four in equal measure.
Fundraising strategy
How much to raise, against which milestones, from which investors, and what the proceeds have to buy before the next round is a stronger conversation than this one.
Investor narrative and materials
The deck, the data room, and the way the story is told out loud, worked on until the opportunity, the differentiation, the risks, and the financing need all say the same thing.
Diligence preparation
The questions an experienced investor will reach for, prepared before they arrive: the science, the development plan, the competition, and the parts of the plan that usually surface late.
The process itself
Sequencing outreach, reading the feedback you get and the silence you get, deciding what to change mid-process and what to hold, and keeping momentum through the slow stretch.
How it starts
Tell me about your company
A short note about where you are, what you are raising, and what is proving hardest. I read these personally.
An introductory call
A free conversation about your company, your raise, and what you would want help with. Its purpose is to work out whether an ongoing engagement would earn its keep.
A scope and a fee, agreed together
If it looks like a fit, I propose what the work should cover and what it costs, based on your stage, your materials, and your timeline. Nothing is committed before that.
The engagement begins
Regular working sessions and support between them, usually shaped around a 3-month stretch of the raise, and continued after that only if it is still useful.
Who this is for
- Actively raising, or about to be
- Working on a pre-seed, seed, or Series A round in therapeutics, medical devices, diagnostics, digital health, or life science tools
- Wanting one experienced person alongside the raise, not a vendor
- Willing to hear the parts that are inconvenient
What advisory is, and what it is not
It is strategic guidance from an investor's perspective: strengthening the investment case, preparing for diligence, anticipating what investors will ask, and navigating the process with someone who has seen it from the other side.
It is not a brokerage or placement service. Zonvic does not make investor introductions for a fee, does not act as a placement agent, and does not guarantee that you will raise capital or any particular outcome. What the work builds is readiness. The rest is earned in the room.
Start with a conversation
Tell me where you are in the raise and what is proving hardest. I read these personally and reply either to arrange the introductory call or to say plainly that this is not the right fit.
Prefer to start with one session? A 60-minute Investor Readiness Advisory session, fixed fee, can be booked for a specific time now.
